#1 Birthday

Kenidee had her first birthday on Monday, I can not believe she is one already. My dad was down the week before so we had a little pre-birthday party while he was here. Toni and Sean were so kind to host for us in their new house. Thank You! Kenidee loved all the attention and her new surprises! This is her little pony she got she absolutely loves. It sings a little song and makes horse noises which we all have memorized already.
It took her a little bit to realize the purpose of what she was doing. She
learned there was something sweet under the paper, she just had to get it off
and then she could play with it. Aunt Berta gave her a little dollie which she takes
such good care of. She feeds it a bottle and has to sleep with it now. Thanks Berta

This is her with her cake I made her! With her nickname Bug, she had to have
a little lady bug cake! After we sang to her and got the candle blew out instead of digging
in like most kids she politely picked off pieces of candy and handed to everybody and gave
the cake some kisses!

4th of JULY

Kenidee, Ella, & Jane

For the 4th of July we were in Kanab for most of the day! We had a lot of fun and Kenidee loved the sparklers. It was one of last weekends at Mace's mom's house she just sold it and will be moving soon so we were glad to spend the 4th there. I had to work that night so Mace and Kenidee headed up to Brian Head to see the festivities up there. She has been attached to her baby lately and can't do much without her, it is so cute. She is loving summer and being outside. She will point and say outside all day long until you take her out. She has started talking more but still doesn't care to walk on her own yet. She is just getting so big I can't believe its been a year already!

May 2009

It has been a month since our last post, I can't believe it. The summer is already going
by so fast. We have visited my sister a few times down in St. George and Kenidee loves the pool! She could lay in her floaty all day if I let her. We also have been down to Vegas a few times,
we went to the shark aquarium which she also loved, she was a little disappointed about not being able to touch them, but she was continually signing come here and talking to them. Other than that not much is new, Kenidee is almost 11 months which is crazy and super close to walking. Mace just started summer school for his masters so we are back into the routine of school again, way too soon.

9 MONTHS!

Finally we got some new family pictures and Kenidee at 9 months.
Thank you Michelle, you did a great job I love them!
Back to Kenidee being 9 months, holy crap I can't believe it. She
growing up so fast I can't keep up with her. She is becoming more and more
fun each day and seriously cracks Mace and I up. She is so funny and of course
so stinkin' cute! She cruises around our house crawling everywhere and pulls herself
up to everything she wants. She has 5 teeth already with one coming, her little smile
is almost full of little teethins. She is such a happy little girl, she loves her baths still, would let me read her books to her all day if I would, adores little kids and loves animals (dogs are her favorite after watching Bolt). She will make a little bark noise, stick out her tongue, and try and pick things up with her mouth. It is hilarious! Since it has warmed up we have been able to
play at the park and go for walks and she laughs and gets so excited about being outside.
We are so lucky to be her parents and still can't get enough of her!

Easter & Horse Rides

Kenidee and I took a little trip to Fairview
last weekend and her Garlick side was revealed.
My dad took her on her first little horse ride and she
loved it! She couldn't get enough of all the horses, cows and Joey's dog and was
not one bit scared. She also has had her tongue out continually
since watching Joey's dog! It was so much fun and we will definitely make
horse rides a must every time we visit!

We spent easter in Kanab this year with Mace's
family. It was a lot of fun and the weather was
so nice! I am loving the warmness!
