Karter is one week old today, I can't believe we have had her here a week already. She is such a great baby and Kenidee has become such a big girl. She is our happy little helper and at times wants to help too much but is loving being a big sister. We have been spoiled with help and phone calls from so many family and friends, thank you so much for everything! We feel so blessed and are so thankful for our girls!
The pictures are out of order but our little one decided to come a little early. I was scheduled to be induced Dec. 1 but early Sunday morning after we had gotten home from Fairview at 2am I started having contractions and was pretty sure she was wanting to come. With a snow storm coming Mace was starting to get nervous about 7am when the contractions were still regular and getting closer. We decided it was better to go to the hospital and get checked since we had 30 min to drive and with the snow coming. Our great friends were nice to take Kenidee (Thank you so much to the Abbott's) and we headed to the hospital. After getting checked we weren't convinced they would keep me there I was only dilated to a 2+. My contractions were still 2-3 min apart so we went walking for awhile and only progressed to a 3. We both were exhausted from being up all night and just wanted to go home or get the show on the road, they said they would watch me for a little more and see what happened, finally at noon they decided my contractions weren't stopping so they would help me along. I got my IV going with Pitocin and the Dr broke my water soon after. By 2pm my epidural was in and I was finally progressing a little faster. After only a couple pushes she was here arriving exactly at 3:59pm. She had tons of hair and barely let out a squeal until she got her shots. It was so amazing to get her here, we thought she was going to be more of a Christmas baby being due Dec 16 but instead she wanted to be a Thanksgiving baby. We really are so thankful for her coming without problems and being healthy.
Kenidee wasn't feeling good the next day but tried really hard to be a happy big sister.

Last weekend Mace's mom came up for a visit and brought our niece Breigh. Kenidee loved having a little friend to play with for 3 days. They read books, danced, played with dolls, watched movies, and did some shopping! It was fun to have family come visit except now Kenidee continually is asking when her other cousins or Uncle Joey or Berta will come to her house. When they were leaving Mace's mom told Kenidee that as soon as baby sister is waking up to call her and she will come back. So not even an hour after they had left she was on her little play phone telling Nanny that sister was waking up and she needed to come back right now! It was so cute, she loves her family so much! Thanks for coming Nanny and Breigh!
I just have to give a little shout out for my friend Megan she makes these adorable little beanies. Kenidee isn't the greatest model but you can still see how cute they are. There are more options and many styles to choose from. She has a blog called swankystiches.blogspot.com where you can look at more and order. I love them so I just thought many others would too, so I wanted to pass the info along so every little one can have a cute little beanie for winter.
I don't have my little one here yet to model this one but I am excited for her to sport it. Thanks Megan I love them!
We made the long trip down to Southern Utah for the deer hunt. Sadly Mace wasn't lucky this year, no deer for us but we had fun hanging out with his family. Kenidee was beyond excited to see her cousins she hasn't seen for awhile.

We had a change of costume for Kenidee for our Ward party. She was a princess, Mace was her Prince and I was the wicked witch. We love our new ward and Kenidee had a lot of fun trick-or-treating and playing Halloween games and of course eating treats. She'll still be her cute little teddy bear for the big night of trick-or-treating.

Today was Kenidee's first day of school. She was so excited to go and use her backpack, even though there is only crayons and a little notepad in it. She told her Teddy which is her best friend that she couldn't play til later because she had school like Kate (cousin) and Joey (uncle)but she would be back soon. It was so cute, she kissed him goodbye and left him in her room. She only goes for 3 hrs but I can't wait for her to come home already I don't know what to do without her. I'm sure that will change the more I get used to it. I can't believe she is so big.
I have been wanting to take Kenidee to the zoo for so long cuz I knew she would love it. So with the summer coming to an end we finally made it and of course she couldn't get enough.
The train ride and merry-go-round were a big hit, I am so glad Mace doesn't get sick spinning in circles or Kenidee would never get to ride on these.
She loved trying to find all the monkeys in the trees.
Even though she cried when we left it didn't take long for her to fall asleep with her best friend and newest friend little giraffe!
Toy Story 2 is Kenidee's most favorite movie right now so we always drove past this little snow cone place and she wanted to stop. Before we moved I had to take her there to have a snow cone with her beloved Buzz! Can you tell she loves him?
With our crazy summer of moving and working we finally made it to one of the Bee's games. Kenidee loved Bumble the most and knew exactly where he was the entire game, so we had to get his card autographed after. She also couldn't wait to ride the little train she loved giving high fives to the kids along the way!
This is her and her little backpack that she adores! Dora the Explorer is also a favorite right now and she loves to fill up her backpack with her little trinkets like Dora.
Joey turned 11 Sept. 6 and we were so excited that we were able to be there for his birthday. I can't believe he is getting so big. Kenidee adores this kid and follows him around like a little puppy when we are there, good thing he is such a great uncle!

This is our cute little country cabin we stayed in until we found some housing here. Kenidee loved it since she was able to sleep in the same room as us and the little dorm fridge she could get in to whenever she pleased.
Good news we are officially moved in to our new little place and are really loving it here. Thank you to both of our families for coming so far to help us move. I can't believe we moved twice in one summer but I think we're done for awhile. We are loving it here so far the small town thing fits us so much better than the city and Kenidee is just happy to have all her toys and books unpacked. Mace is really enjoying his new job and I am continuing to grow. I found a Doctor here and the baby is still doing great, kicking and tumbling all the time. She is already trying to keep up with Kenidee.
