On the Move...back to Utah!

Karter is getting so big it is crazy she is almost 5 months old, I still think of her as my little newborn. She thinks Kenidee is hilarious and laughs and smiles at her when she sings or talks to her, it is so cute to see them interact. She also is a champ at rolling over and is trying to sit up but doesn't quite get it yet. She has found her toes now which is adorable to watch her play with, she also loves to watch the TV and loves bath time!
Kenidee is also getting so big and has become such a funny little person. She says some of the funniest things, she definetly keeps us laughing. She is also a great big sister, she loves to read and sing songs to Karter and Karter loves it. While I was packing I would put Karter in the little baby play stroller and Kenidee would push her around for a good hour and they both loved it! I love to see them play together.

Karter's blessing was Mar. 6 in Fairview. It was such a wonderful day and of course she looked like a little angel.

So we did move again and this time back to Utah! Mace got a new job in SLC so after only a short time in Wyoming we are back. It was really sad to leave though, I really loved it there and am going to miss our ward and friends so much. But I am excited to be closer to home and for Mace's new opportunity.

I can't believe a month has already passed, Karter is now 3 months and getting big way too fast. Kenidee is also growing like a little weed, she is such a funny little girl just like her Dad! She keeps us laughing and loves helping take care of her little Karty. Yesterday was Mace's birthday we started celebrating with my family over the weekend and will continue next weekend with his family! I just want to give Mace a little Happy Birthday shout out and thank him for being such an amazing husband and great Dad! I love you Babe!

I can't believe Karter is already 2 months old, time goes by so fast! She is doing great and is such a good baby. She has started smiling back at us which is one of the greatest feelings parents ever feel I think. She weighed in at 9lbs 10oz at her 2 month visit and 22 inches long. She loves to such on her fist but gags on any binki, loves to sleep on her tummy on mom, loves bath time, and most of all loves to sleep! Kenidee is such a good big sister, she has given Karter her nickname of Karty and sissie and seriously loves to help take care of her. Kenidee is also doing great still loves going to her school and wishes she could play outside more. When it is -22 Iwould rather not even leave the house. We have had a few nice days and were able to actually take Karter on her first walk. We anxiously await nice spring weather. In the meantime we do a lot of dancing, coloring, dress-up, story time, and making treats. We miss all our family but can't wait til we see you all soon.

This year we were in Kanab for Christmas. Kenidee loved being with her cousins for a week. It was good to be with family and we're going to miss them alot. Our girls are getting so big and we had a great Christmas.

1 week old!

Karter is one week old today, I can't believe we have had her here a week already. She is such a great baby and Kenidee has become such a big girl. She is our happy little helper and at times wants to help too much but is loving being a big sister. We have been spoiled with help and phone calls from so many family and friends, thank you so much for everything! We feel so blessed and are so thankful for our girls!

She is Here!

The pictures are out of order but our little one decided to come a little early. I was scheduled to be induced Dec. 1 but early Sunday morning after we had gotten home from Fairview at 2am I started having contractions and was pretty sure she was wanting to come. With a snow storm coming Mace was starting to get nervous about 7am when the contractions were still regular and getting closer. We decided it was better to go to the hospital and get checked since we had 30 min to drive and with the snow coming. Our great friends were nice to take Kenidee (Thank you so much to the Abbott's) and we headed to the hospital. After getting checked we weren't convinced they would keep me there I was only dilated to a 2+. My contractions were still 2-3 min apart so we went walking for awhile and only progressed to a 3. We both were exhausted from being up all night and just wanted to go home or get the show on the road, they said they would watch me for a little more and see what happened, finally at noon they decided my contractions weren't stopping so they would help me along. I got my IV going with Pitocin and the Dr broke my water soon after. By 2pm my epidural was in and I was finally progressing a little faster. After only a couple pushes she was here arriving exactly at 3:59pm. She had tons of hair and barely let out a squeal until she got her shots. It was so amazing to get her here, we thought she was going to be more of a Christmas baby being due Dec 16 but instead she wanted to be a Thanksgiving baby. We really are so thankful for her coming without problems and being healthy.
Kenidee wasn't feeling good the next day but tried really hard to be a happy big sister.
