Spring Rewind

It's been over 2 months since I last posted, so sorry! Life has been busy as it always is! So here is a quick update to what we have been up to.



 We headed down to Southern Utah to go camping with some of Mace's friends for a weekend. Kenidee loved shooting her gun and having Shaye teach her how to fish. Besides the bugs it was a fun little getaway!

 For Easter we were in Kanab with Mace's family! Finally he showed me some of Kanab's sweet spots, it has only taken 5 years! It was a lot of fun being outside in the nice warm weather. Kenidee loved as always all the cousin time!

 Most of our time is devoted to our new house. It's really all I think about most days. This is the girls new little table mace put up for them, finally Karty will sit still and eat! Mace's dad came up and with a little of my help painted our garage! It looks amazing now, no more stripes.

 Kenidee and Karter are loving having a yard and drive-way to play in. Karter comes and gets my finger and leads me to the door to go outside 3-4 different times each day. They love playing outside.

 We put part of our yard in, at least the front anyway! It is great to have grass and not as much dirt and dust coming in the house now. The flower bed is still pending...

 This is Karter on her first day going to nursery! I am a nursery leader now and so she was able to come in a couple weeks early but I still can't believe she is so big!

 The first part of May we had some of Mace's family come up for the weekend. City Creek was a hit with the little girls. Kenidee also experienced her first real rollarcoasters at Lagoon. It was so much fun having them up.

 These 4 little girls couldn't be any cuter together! They loved carrying their chairs from place to place (Grandma Janeen to Grandma Lula's to the drive-in to Joey's baseball game).

 Now that we drive by the Great Salt Lake I have been wanting to go this spot so we headed out lunch one day! The girls loved throwing rocks in and even though Kenidee was a little disappointed that there wasn't any fish she still loved it!

We are loving our new home, neighborhood, and ward. I couldn't ask for a better place I now have to convince Mace over and over that we are done moving and we be here for a very long time! Kenidee is almost 4 and I can't believe it. She is such a good little girl and my little sidekick! She loves to write her name and can not wait to go to school in the fall next door! She loves being a big sister and is so nice to play and involve Karter in her magical made up world! The fresh beat band is her most favorite show and sings and dances right along with them. Our cute little neighbor and her are adorable when they play and run back and forth each day from house to house playing non-stop! She loves primary and Alma the younger is her favorite bedtime story to read!

Karter is now 18 months old and is not my baby anymore even though I want her to be. She loves nursery and going to kids club with Kenidee why mace and I are at the gym. She loves corn dogs, doughnuts, cookies, yogurt, string cheese, and fruit! She observes kenidee's every move and then attempts to keep up. Loves going for walks outside and playing at the park. Is starting to talk a lot more even though she is stubborn as can be and can throw a good tantrum. Loves dogs and maybe one day I will break down and get her one just because they make her so happy!

Mace and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary last weekend! It is so crazy it has been that long yet it is hard to remember my life without him in it! I absolutely adore Mace and Love him more than I can even describe! Life is good for us, we are so blessed and happy!

We have decided to buy a home and we are super excited! It is in Stansbury Park and if all goes as planned we will be there in less than a month! So here are some pics of our soon to be home!

Welcome 2012

Kenidee has been wanting to build a snowman, finally we got enough snow for her! Of course it is gone now but she loved it while it lasted.

During the college break we were lucky enough to have Auntie Berta and Uncle Mitchell and Aunt Gigi come for a visit. We had lots of fun, we went to a Jazz game, had a girlie craft night, and ice skating!

Karter had her 1st birthday in November and has all of sudden became such a big girl. She is walking trying to run, has 6 teeth, loves bananas, bread, ritz crackers, and milk. She finally will sign by choice back to us she knows more, baby, bath, sleep, shoes, eat, all done, drink, please, and thank you. She is also learning body parts which she thinks is so funny she knows belly button, nose, lips, head, hair, fingers and toes. She love, love, loves music and dancing with Kenidee. She will twirl around and bounce up and down and clap for herself of course. She folds her arms for the first 3 sec of prayers and then claps for herself folding her arms the rest of the prayer. Too Cute! Another favoirte of hers is to pull out every dvd from the case. She keeps us running and at times can be such a little stubborn chic but she also melts our hearts when she volunteers to give hugs and kisses.

Kenidee is also getting so big! She was so much fun at Christmas time, her excitement was too cute. She is such a good helper and big sister. She irritates and drives Karter crazy most days but also makes sure she is not into trouble and that no one hurts her. She is such a great sister protector. She loves pre-school and dance and is learning so much. She is learning the alphabet sounds, can write her first and last name all by herself, she loves numbers and is continually using them even when they don't make sense in her sentences. She loves playing dress-up and getting her nails painted! She is now out of nursery and in sunbeams and loves it! Singing time is her favorite and she likes going to class like a big girl. She still loves her Teddy. She treats him like part of the family. She always asks if he can come with to places and usually I tell her he can come but has to stay in the truck. Well as we were leaving the house she was having an intense conversation with him she says, "No Teddy you can't get out the truck. Why? Because you don't say words out loud, you're a stuffed animal. Karty can't say words but she tries and says them out loud and you can't so you can't get out!" I was dying, I guess it is good she at least knows he's a stuffed animal! She is such a funny girl and always makes me smile!

Lots of Fall and Halloween Fun

This year Kenidee wanted to be a pirate so the rest of us were too except Karter was our little Tinkerbell. She loved being a pirate and saying "Arrgh mateys."

This was Kenidee's first time real trick-or-treating and she loved it. After the first door she had the biggest smile on her face and said, 'That was so fun, can we do it again?"

Our finished decorated cookies we delivered to Dad at his work. Kenidee was so excited to trick-or-treat at his work.

Our weekend getaway to see little Kamryn! The carnival we dressed up for was a bust but the kids looked stinkin cute anyway!

We also made a stop at Snow to visit Auntie Berta!

And of course we had to stop by Grandma Lula's

Pumpkin Painting

More pre-halloween fun at Spooktacular. Kenidee had her first ever dance performance! She did such a great job!
